Our Process at Yellow Brick Road Pavers & Landscapes

The Process Begins

Knowledge is power when planning for a landscape project. Start by researching landscaping trends and styles you prefer and gathering inspiring images. Establish a realistic budget while exploring the vast array of options available online, in books, and in brochures.

Understanding their business history and operations is also important When choosing a contractor, it is important to understand their business history and operations. Yellow Brick Road has been recognized in manufacturers’ brochures over the last 35 years for our expertise. You may check out our reputation through the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and online reviews.

Yellow Brick Road is proud to be an A+-rated BBB-accredited business, backed by five-star Google reviews, with a strong history of customer referrals. Having discovered us, consider making us your choice. Contact us for a no-obligation design consultation, and we will follow up with a proposal to bring your project to life.

The Design Consultation

Yellow Brick Road takes pride in making the journey as enjoyable as the destination. During the design consultation, you will meet with one of our designers or landscape architects. They will come out to your home on your schedule to listen to your ideas, share expert advice, and exchange information about your project.

The best designs always start with the “form follows function” principle, answering the questions of who, how, and when the space will be used. We will assess your existing site and the construction access to it and do a complete sketch and measurement of the site to address challenges and provide solutions. Then, with your permission, we will photograph your property. After listening and gathering all the information necessary to provide you with a detailed proposal for your project, we will leave you with some brochures and examples of our work.

The Proposal

After our initial meeting, we will submit a detailed proposal, including specifications for constructing your project. As previously determined in our first meeting, the proposal may include either a complementary or commissioned design. Your proposal will clearly state what is included as well as what is not included in the price.

Our pricing is all-inclusive as it’s designed and presented. Yellow Brick Road prices each project according to its needs. We never work on square foot pricing as no two jobs are exactly the same.

Once you complete your review and let us know your thoughts, we can make the necessary revisions and modifications to meet your expectations. Then, when the plan and proposal are to your exact satisfaction, you can execute the contract, make a down payment, and get on our Yellow Brick Road construction schedule.

The Construction

Yellow Brick Road appreciates your vote of confidence, and it’s our privilege to construct your project for you. Before the construction begins, we will submit samples of the materials for your approval and order them prior to your scheduled construction dates. No delays or excuses here. Your project will be assigned a general manager to coordinate and communicate all of your project’s progress and needs. From the initial site layout to the final stages of construction, your project manager ensures seamless coordination and quality construction.

We use our own employees and equipment to construct all the landscapes and hardscapes in-house. Our construction teams bring a wealth of experience as many of us have been employed here for 10 to 20 plus years. Some of the same people who built the projects featured in the brochures that you loved will be building your project. We only subcontract out portions that require licensed professionals like electricians, plumbers, etc.

During construction, we always clean up daily as we are mindful not just of your property but of your neighbors as well. Building this way, Yellow Brick Road has established a reputation for the best quality in the business, and we back it up with our warranty.
